Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Information & Broadcasting, Dr L Murugan today paid tributes to freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar on his birth anniversary today.

“Today is the birthday of the great Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar, who declared spirituality and politics as his two eyes. He simultaneously served the country, Tamil, spirituality and politics and gave his voice for the people. Let us salute him,” said Shri Murugan.

The birth anniversary of Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar is being celebrated as Thevar Jayanthi today.
